A Little Trip to Hell

Sirena walked into Knockturn Alley, her heavy velvet robe draped on her shoulders elegantly. Her dark hair was gathered into a messy bun atop her head as she walked toward her location with confidence. It was no good in showing weakness. Especially not here. The people around here could smell weakness from a mile away and preyed on it. Sirena didn't want any trouble. Hell, all she wanted was to get the supplies for the school and go back home. Maybe watched a little telly. She didn't think that was too much to ask for.

Walking into the Apothecary, Sirena's nose scrunched up in disgust. It smelled absolutely awful in the shop. To the point where Sirena had to cover her nose and mouth with her hand. Sirena would just get her things, then leave. Because she could not stand to be in here much longer.

Grabbing the things she needed, Sirena turned on her heels, effectively knocking someone down.

"I'm so sor-- Wait? No, I'm not."

Salazar was standing in the back of the Apothecary, speaking in hushed tones with the shop keeper. Salazar was in need of Veritaserum for a little weasel he had caught during one of the Reformed Death Eater meetings. And, he didn't have enough time to brew it himself. And, if he could work out a good enough deal, he would have more than enough for the next meeting. Easy as pie.

Smirking dangerously at the shopkeeper, Salazar thanked him for doing business with him as he stuffed the vials into his pockets. God, sometimes it was just too easy.

As he was walking, Salazar was suddenly knocked on his ass. Hearing a familiar voice, Salazar smirked up at the person that had just ran into him.

"Fancy seeing you here love." Salazar said to Sirena whilst helping himself up off the dirt floor. "And, can I say that you look bloody beautiful."

Sirena glared down at William. Or rather, a man with the name William Parker. Sirena didn't trust the man at all and she knew that he was hiding something. Something big. But, without evidence, Sirena couldn't do anything about it. She was stuck in a rut until he made a mistake. And, Sirena was praying that his mistake would be sooner than later.

"No, you may not say that you self-centered prick!" Sirena snapped, looking up at the man. God. She hated him. Everything about him. His good looks, charming personality, his secrets, and the fact that he left almost immediately after they had snogged. Ugh, what a git!

Sirena glared at him, "Why are you here? What business do you have being in Knockturn Alley?"

Salazar grinned down at small, innocent, fiery Sirena. He was always able to get a rise out of her, no matter how hard she tried to control herself. Looking up and down her body, Salazar's grin slowly but surely turned into a smirk. Even covered with that velvet robe she was the most beautiful woman he's ever laid his eyes on. Too bad she could never know who he was and she hated him. Too bad indeed.

"Oh, so is this not a free country? That's a shame. I might have to move to the Americas then." Salazar said, walking around the Headmistress once before standing in front of her again.

Raising an eyebrow at the woman, Salazar laughed. "Merlin! I thought you were my boss, not my wife!" Salazar leaned in close to her, "But, I wouldn't mind if you were. Seeing you domestic would be incredibly attractive."

Sirena's blue eyes narrowed a William, "Maybe if you move to America I'll finally be free from you." Sirena shot back, a shadow of a smirk making it's way onto her face. But, the small smile fell off her face when William started circling her. "What the hell are you doing Parker?" Sirena snapped, looking up at the older man. "Stop that!"

"I am you're boss!" Sirena let out a tiny sound of rage, "And I am most certainly not your wife!" Sirena cried, earning a glare from the shopkeeper. "God, what is wrong with you? Who are you?"

Salazar grinned lazily at her, "You'll never be free of me love." Salazar promised, though the old him was pushing at him, trying to get out. Well, the him before he had to become William Parker. Before he had to become Salazar Riddle. "I'm not doing anything Sirena. You're just overreacting." Salazar replied simply, looking at the woman.

"Well, if you're going to yell at me, than I certainly wouldn't want to marry you now. God, how do you live with that shrill of a voice?" Salazar taunted, a smile on his face.

Hearing Sirena's Who are you?, Salazar froze up. He didn't even know who he was anymore. Which version of him was the real version. Though, deep down, he did know. And that scared him more than ever. Instead of telling her what he knew, he just smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know?"

Sirena frowned at William's statement. "That's what you think Parker." Sirena muttered under her breathe, her blue eyes narrowed dangerously at William. She didn't like him, but she couldn't hate him. Sirena felt a slight feeling of sympathy for the man, though she didn't know why. Sirena felt the need to help him, but with what she didn't know. "I never overreact," she snapped scathingly.

"Careful now, or I might hex you. And I don't want to be responsible for hexing a professor. Well, sort of a teacher. I hardly call teaching children how to fly a job that should be at Hogwarts." Sirena replied, glaring at him.

Sirena watched as he appeared to be having an internal battle. She felt a swell of triumph at the thought that she had finally figured him out. But, like all good things, it stopped when he smirked at her. Merlin he was difficult. "Yes, I really would. I would like to know who the hell I hired to work with children at my school!" Sirena cried.

Salazar completely ignored Sirena's verbal lashing at him. He didn't want to deal with it right now. There was only so much fighting he could take before he got bored. He supposed it was because he wasn't truly a Slytherin. In fact, Salzar had been done with the fighting long ago. But, he had a feeling that for some reason, Sirena enjoyed fighitng with him and winning. Maybe because no one else could really handle her, besides him. That thought made him smirk.

"Sirena, if I promise to behave, can we talk like normal people for awhile? I'll even pay for you to eat in Diagon Alley. C'mon, what do you have to lose?" Salazar offered, actually smiling. He had to change his tactic with her. And that wasn't the thing that scared him. It was the fact that the tactic he had to use was really him.
