Sometimes You Have to Reflect

Stella stumbled into the forest, her black hair sticking to her neck from the sweat that pouring off her skin. Her stomach clenched in a warning. Grabbing the nearest tree, she heaved up the remains of her dinner onto the forest floor as tears streamed down her face. She was disgusted with herself. Stella couldn't even fathom what had gone wrong. She had changed so much since meeting her father that Stella didn't even recognize herself.

Sliding down the tree, Stella pulled her knees up to her chest. Leaning her head back, Stella took long and ragged breathes. She would overcome this... lapse. She would be fine. This was a rare occasion and she knew it would end soon enough.

Hearing a twig snap in the forest, Stella shot up like a rocket, her wand clenched in her hand. "Who's there?" She called out, her voice trembling.

Violet, raming the grounds in hope of seeing something worth seeing, had heard the tears and vomiting of someone close. So, being the dense child she was, went to the sound to see who it could be.

Hearing a familiar drawl of a certain heir, Violets heart melted. "Stella?" She called out, uncertain if she should get closer or stay where she was. Her motherly instincts kicked in, and she began walking to the girl, seeing her dark shadow sitting somewhere close by.

As Violet reached her, she stepped on a very loud branch. Seeing Stella grab her wand, Violet laughed. "Put that thing way will you? You could nearly kill me." So she stopped where she was and waited for the small girl to reconize her.
