Kerrington sat at the ice cream parlour, not because of the ice cream they served, but because of a certain person that was there. Kerrington had been assigned a new kill- a better kill. It seemed like Malfoy's threats worked. Because Simmons pulled her into his office the next morning, giving her the case that Brendon was supposed to do. It was a small victory, but Kerrington enjoyed winning nonetheless.
Behind her, two tables to her right, sat an infamous prisoner from Azkaban. Kerrington was using her compact mirror to spy on him as she adjusted her lipstick. After about three coats, Kerrington noticed that he wasn't going anywhere. That confused her, so she snapped the compact loudly. A convicted criminal didn't just hang around an ice cream parlour, running the risk of being captured by a regular Hit Wizard.
Yet, the lucky guy had an assassin after him instead.
Just as she was about to approach him, using her usually skill of charming, some cast a shadow over her. Kerrington glanced up, looking at the person with a questioning stare. "Yes?" she wondered, waiting for them to talk.
