Elisabetta yawned as she sat down at the Slytherin table with the rest of the students. It felt good to be back here at Hogwarts, although the journey had, as usual, been a very long one. At that point, she just hoped the Sorting would be over quickly this year; the Sorting Hat had taken a few minutes with a handful of students at last year's ceremony.
I wish they'd let us bring our own snacks in here to eat while we watch this little show, she thought, waving at one of her few friends, who was seated over at the Ravenclaw table. I'm so bloody hungry right now. This is insane.
Betta yawned again, then strained to try to catch a glimpse of the first year students. All she succeeded in doing was give herself a neck ache, so she decided that patience would have to do for the moment, and that her stomach would just have to wait for a few minutes while the Sorting Ceremony took place..
